Full Moon Cacao Ceremony

Individual & Group Embodiment Healing for Women

The full moon guides our way, providing illumination for our hearts and wombs. 

We will call upon Grandmother Moon, harness her strength and ask for her guidance and support to see with clarity and strengthen your intentions. 

Cacao is the fruit of the Theobroma tree before it is processed into chocolate. It is one of the richest foods in magnesium supporting heart health, optimal brain health, relaxing the nervous system, the joints and muscles. It stimulates blood flow, while also creating relaxation and gently opens the heart. This beautiful duality of feeling awake and energized while feeling carefree and open is the gift of Cacao.

Mother Cacao is typically felt as having a soft, gentle, heart opening quality.  We will intentionally invite Mother Cacao and her medicine through ceremony into our bodies to journey with her within us.  Utilizing Mother Cacao to be held by her nurturing, loving, embrace gently open our hearts and assists us to work with our womb and spirit of the womb.  We descend into the womb space gracefully, with respect and honor to yourself and your own experience.

The rose is a healer of any kind of sexual wounds-abuse, shame, guilt, etc. Rose supports to clear that energy and come back to our wholeness.

Who is this ceremony for?

~you've recently lost love or are currently struggling with past loss of love (break-up, divorce, death, etc.)

~you wish to cultivate more love in your life

~you feel disconnected, disassociated or numb to your womb, your feminine essence or sexuality

~it's challenging for you to let people in, trust, or you have walls around your heart

~you'd like to strengthen your connection with your own mother or the archetype of the mother

Cacao specifically has been used in gatherings marking Rites of Passage, like birth, death & marriage for thousands of years.

Group processing and circle support has been a method of tribal custom for thousands of years.  People would come together to grieve, celebrate or reach higher states of consciousness within the shared experience and support of a group or circle.

When we are able to share our truths authentically in a circle of group processing, where all are equal without hierarchy, we begin to see the similarities we have, the shared experiences of life we’ve encountered, the same fears and concerns, the same joys and excitements.  There is a comfort there, it creates a shared sense of belonging and we are more easily able to draw support from one another and make the changes in our life we desire.   A strong foundation is acquired in the knowing that a sister may have been there too, she understands, and she’s got your back.

Group circling strengthens social bonds, validates, creates accountability, provides a space to share truth, own it and make healthy positive changes.  Healing in this way changes the ways in which we interact with other people outside of the circle, with more compassion and understanding.  And with each new interaction we are changing the paradigm and healing the wounding that’s been afflicting the Divine Feminine for far too long.

Event:

I will prepare a ceremonial grade Cacao drink with the addition of organic rose powder.  Light snacks will be provided. You will be guided in a somatic meditation that will assist you in setting intentions to work with the medicine of Mother Cacao.  Some history and benefits about the energy of Mother Cacao will be shared.

We will drink the cacao, then weather permitting we will go to the rooftop (Parthenon view) for moon gazing and charging up with the energy of the full moon. We will have free time for inner exploration and journey.  This might include conscious movement, silence, writing in your journal, drawing/art, making music or singing, using oracle cards or other ways you wish to express your experience.  Oracle cards and basic art supplies will be available for use.  Feel free to bring what you need for this exploration time.

We will end with sharing (optional) and close the ceremony.  Doing this helps to integrate your experience and create shifts in the life we desire. More details about how to prepare will be sent 1 day before the event after paid registration.
